Here We Go Magic // A Different Ship

Here We Go Magic has been one of my favourite bands for quite a long time. I remember first hearing their song Collector in 2010 off their “Pigeons” release and kind of shaking my shit around. Their broad sense of sound offers up something for everyone to like if that makes sense.

Their newest release “A Different Ship” which was released in 2012 continues the bands legacy as amazing studio and uncanny synched live performers. They worked with both Thom Yorke and Nigel Godrich on the album to create their most succinct, melodic album so far. Lead singer Luke Temple has since released a single album titled“Good Mood Fool” which is like Motown meets Here We Go Magic. Trippy right? Curtis Mayfield actually helped on this release (Official Florida Video). Here’s to hoping we hear Here We Go Magic come back together in 2014 for a new release.
